For more than 30 years I’ve helped people and organisations create meaningful and sustainable change.
My work brings together psychology, organisational development, implementation, evaluation, coaching and mediation to help clients understand complex challenges, develop practical solutions and achieve better outcomes.
I’m passionate about helping people make sense of complexity. Whether I’m working with a leadership team to develop a strategy, supporting the implementation of a new service, evaluating impact or coaching an individual through change, my focus is always the same – helping people move from ideas to action and creating positive, lasting change.
As a Chartered Psychologist, I understand that successful change is about much more than having a good plan. It depends on people, relationships, culture and context. That’s why my approach combines evidence, psychology and practical experience to help clients find solutions that work in the real world, not just on paper.
I founded Outcome Imps in 2015 because I believe people and organisations already have a wealth of knowledge, expertise and commitment. My role is to help unlock that potential by bringing together the best available evidence with the insights that already exist within individuals, teams and organisations.
I work collaboratively with clients to identify what matters most, build on strengths and develop practical approaches that are realistic, sustainable and focused on outcomes.
Over the years I’ve worked with government departments, health and social care organisations, charities, community organisations, academic institutions and commercial organisations across Northern Ireland, Ireland and the UK.
Recent projects have included supporting organisational change with Danone, leading implementation support for Managed Budgets across Northern Ireland through the IMPACT Research Centre, establishing SDS Network NI, strategic planning with organisations including Barnardo’s, TinyLife and Nexus, independent evaluations for organisations including CiNI, Helium Arts and Victim Support NI, and coaching leaders, teams and individuals navigating professional and personal change.
Alongside my professional experience, I also bring the perspective of lived experience as a family carer and parent of autistic children. These experiences have strengthened my belief that meaningful change begins with listening, understanding different perspectives and keeping people at the heart of decision-making.
Whether you’re looking for support with strategy, implementation, evaluation, coaching or facilitation, I’d be delighted to explore how we can work together.
